Accommodation options

Accommodation options are limited on the first two days of the R'n'R MTB Adventure, after we leave the coast and “go outback”. You can bring your own camping equipment (we have trucks!) or you can hire tents etc from us.

VIP Tent Accommodation

Tent hire is twin share (Two people per tent) and provides VIP Accommodation. Tents are erected and pulled down, airbeds, sleeping bags and sheet liners) for four days and three nights.

Cost: Single twin share – $225 per person

You can choose to pay for your tent accommodation during the registration process or by logging into your fundraising dashboard and visiting the merchandise page.

If you are travelling as a couple or with a friend, the tent share ups will be organised by volunteers on the first night of the ride. Non couples/friends will share with another person of the same sex. Bedding is ID tagged and ensures you have the same set up each night.

(Please note a 28 day cancellation policy is generally required, less a 15% administration fee)

Your registration for the R'n'R MTB Adventure covers all meals during the five-day event. (All you have to bring are your favourite snack foods, for example: trail mix, energy bars etc.)

Breakast: This will be a continental breakfast with cereal, fruit salad, toast, tea, coffee and fruit juice.

Lunch: Rolls, sandwiches and wraps with various meats, cheese, salads, dressings/condiments as well as fruit and a fruit drink.

Dinner: Various meals provided by community groups along the way.

There will be bar facilities at various locations. In addition, the smaller towns would appreciate your support so if there is a pub there please pay a visit and chat to the locals.

Special dietary requirements

If you are a vegetarian, lactose-intolerant, suffer from specific food allergies or require a gluten-free diet, we will do our best to cater for you.

When you fill out your R'n'R MTB registration form to register, you will be asked to nominate any special dietary requirements. We will pass that information on to all organisations involved in catering for the event. We may not always be in a position to cater for all your dietary needs, so please contact us if you have any concerns.

(There are very few grocery/health food outlets along the route, so don’t expect to be able to stock up on specialised goodies during the journey.)

NB: Local food suppliers donate all the food required to keep participants well-fed during the event. Meals are prepared by a small army of dedicated volunteers at each stop-over point. Please respect their efforts and give them a smile and a “thank you”. They will appreciate it.
